What to Expect
At Coastline Bible Church we know that your first time at a church can be uncomfortable and confusing.  We want you to be able to relax and experience the authentic worship, relevant teaching from God's Word, and friendly community that makes Coastline a great place to attend.  Here are some of the most common questions first time guests have:

What time is your Sunday service?
Our Sunday service is at 10:30 a.m.

Where are you located?
426 S. Mills Rd., Ventura, CA 93003 (Right across from the Pacific View Mall)

Where do I go if I have questions on Sunday?
If you have questions about our church, where something is located, or one of our various ministries, go to our Information Counter located in the Worship Center lobby.  You may also obtain information from the program you will receive as you enter the Worship Center.

What should I wear?
At Coastline you come as you are.  We are more concerned with meeting your real life needs than what you wear.  You'll see people in dress shirts and dresses as well as jeans and T-shirts.

What is the music like?
At Coastline we have a great mix of old and new music set in contemporary arrangements led by our praise band and vocalists.

Who are you affiliated with?
We are affiliated with Transformation Ministries, a movement of Baptist churches in the Pacific Southwest.

Do I have to give an offering?
The offering is for our members and regular attendees who consider Coastline their home church.

What in the world is an "oikos?"
Oikos is a word that we use frequently at Coastline.  Your oikos is the group of 8 to 15 people with whom you share life most closely.  Oikos is a Greek word meaning "household," and it encompasses those with whom you interact and influence (i.e. family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, etc.)
